Restoration needs of the 7738

New Paint and Lettering.
(Repainting costs are being determined)

Needs a new armrest.

Information on restoration of the locomotive is also needed. Data such as paint codes for the IC colors are needed prior to paint purchase. Stencils, photos, etc are all also needed to try to get 7738 back in good cosmetic shape.

Volunteers! We need people to help with the cleaning, scraping, sanding, and all other things associated with a repaint. While we have several dedicated, hard working members ready and willing to start the project, more pressing task such as track maintenance use up the members available time. If you would like to see 7738 repainted, consider donating your time.
