Whether you're visiting for a train ride, a special event, or a day exploring railroad history, we look forward to welcoming you.

Before You Arrive

• Check excursion schedules​​

• Purchase tickets in advance:

  • Tickets are usually on sale 2-3 months before departure date. Special Events tend to sell out early. 

    • Seating is open and available on a first-come, first-serve basis. ​

• Arrive early for boarding-

  • Boarding begins 30 minutes prior to departure

  • We recommend earlier arrival-around 45 minutes prior to departure- for special events or larger parties. 

  • Parking is free in the Woodford County Park

• Dress appropriately for weather conditions:​

  • We run trains rain or shine! Open Air cars have a carport type cover to protect from the elements. 

• First class and coach are outfitted with heaters in the winter, but we always suggest layering and bundling up. 

• Bring your camera- capture those special memories!

  • The overlook at Young's High Bridge provides opportunities for up-close locomotive photos and scenic views.
